Hi, I'm William O'Sullivan BSc(Hons), DHP, DHA, LAPHP, SymbioDynamics consultant and Life Mapper Life Coach I'm also a member of the Association for Professional Hypnosis and Psychotherapy. As part of my continuing professional education and development I attend formal structured seminars, workshops and study techniques and best practice from various relevant areas of the 'talking therapies'.
During the 12 years as a lecturer at the University of East London I developed an interest in what makes people work (or not). The role of counselling students became increasingly more important, and took up more time, as the implications of the Widening Participation and the Life Long Learning initiatives were realised in higher education. I decided that my practical counselling skills could be put to better use if they were offered to a wider group of people and after careful consideration I enrolled on the Professional Practioner course. Terence Watts, a senior clinician and one of the most respected hypnotherapists and psychotherapists in the industry, taught and trained me at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis and is now my mentor and professional supervisor.
